What is a "thing"? The original meaning of the word can be summarized as something that happens under certain conditions at the certain time. In German, "bedingen" means to make conditions. In Russian, the word "вещь" has the same root as "вещий", translated as "real".


So to be a thing is to be existent within certain conditions. To be real.

To...live


Yet how do different things live with each other, each in its own reality?


And since they do,


How can we think/make/live well with each other, humans and things, in our differences? Not against each other. Not even for each other. With each other?
